[OO]Background: Zetsu was a former shinobi from Kusagakure who fled and joined Akatsuki. Zetsu's main role within the Akatsuki is to function as a spy, often acting as a hunter-nin for Akatsuki as well for Zetsu being a cannibal is able to devour the bodies of the people Akatuski no longer have a use for. He has also been shown able to move his body and take part in the tailed beasts sealing ritual simultaneously which, in addition to being unique to him, allows him to act as a lookout whilst the sealing takes place. Zetsu has been shown having his complete loyalty to Akatsuki, to the extent that the leader, Pein, trusts Zetsu with the knowledge of his identity. As a reward Pain allowed Zetsu to have a subordinate, who was Tobi.

Rp example: Zetsu stood atop a plateau observing the far horizon. He spoke in a calm tone "Well... they won't be here for 3 more days we still have time." A few seconds later Zetsu spoke again, this time with a different tone of voice "No, this is still not enough time we need to send a pair there immediately to stall them. The fact that Zetsu is able to see that great of a distance has been an asset to Akatsuki. From behind him a loud annoying voice could be heard calling his name "Zetsu-san Zetsu-san guess what?" Zetsu turned around and faced a tall man with an orange mask on his face. "Tobi.... what is it?" Tobi began going on and on about how he was needed at the lair immediately to tell Pein of his scouting report.

Zetsu walked into the lair where only his leader stood with his back turned to Zetsu and Tobi. "Tell me Zetsu... any news?" Zetsu then gave his leader a full report of what he saw. 8 Konoha nin heading in this general direction three days until they will be at the lair's door. Pein nods and then speaks once more "well go to Kirigakure dispatch Kisame and Itachi immediately." Zetsu nods and then he disappears.
